Snow White & The Messy Dwarves is new panto from Barking Dog featuring beloved characters, silly songs and cherished traditions for children aged 6 and under and their families.

Princess Snow White is the fairest in the land, but she isn’t the brightest. She doesn’t realise that her stepmother isn’t happy to be ‘the ugly one.’ The Wicked Queen tells their pet Monkey to ‘lose’ Snow White in the woods. Of course Monkey is Snow White’s friend and doesn’t obey the Queen’s terrible orders.

The woods can be a difficult place for a young girl on her own but she is befriended by some friendly but very messy Dwarves. A deal is struck, they will look after her, and she can be their housekeeper. All seems well until a mysterious old woman comes round selling dodgy looking apples….

Barking Dog have been performing children’s shows since 1987 and began performing pantos twenty years ago. Their two actors use puppets, audience participation, lots of action and songs so that children of all ages can join in with all the time-honoured pantomime traditions.
